Call us today and be on the beach tomorrow

Call us today and be on the beach tomorrowSchool's out and, as usual, the team at TCC have been busy organising private jets to Europe's hot spots. And this summer, Olbia, Nice, Malaga, and the Mediterranean belt are, once again, proving to be the most popular holiday destinations.

Operators have been offering great prices on flights, as well as great deals on empty legs. So our clients have discovered that chartering a private aircraft is now even more cost effective. And, of course, there are no queues, crowds and lost luggage worries to contend with.

If you're planning a family holiday, or thinking about organising a last minute break, give us a call. We're receiving availability updates on empty legs and other unmissable offers, on a daily basis.

Just think. You could call us today and be on the beach by tomorrow.

Crowds flock to this year's EBACE

Crowds flock to this year's EBACE As usual, TCC were in attendance at the European Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition (EBACE) in Geneva in May, where we had the opportunity to meet with some of our clients, operators and potential customers.

And what an event it turned out to be.

Despite the show being slightly smaller than in previous years, there were more aircraft on display (65, up from last year's 60) and the overall attendance was higher. In fact, it was the 3rd largest ever EBACE with 10,917 attendees.

So what was the general feeling about the state of business aviation, given the current economic climate? One of optimism, actually. Most brokers and operators agreed that the end of 2008 and the beginning of 2009 had been challenging.

But it seems that things are improving. As from April onwards, many were reporting an increase in flight bookings throughout Europe.

Economic climate lowers the cost of private travel

There's never been a better - or more economical - time to charter a private aircraft. Compared to 2008, fuel costs have come down dramatically. And, due to the economic downturn, we're finding that our operators are giving us really attractive, competitive prices. Of course, levels of safety and service remain high. But it does mean the cost of air chartering is really coming down. And any savings we make we can pass on to you.

Five hour turnaround for Cayman Islands flight

The Charter Company pulled out all the stops this month when we sourced an aircraft; got it positioned from Central Europe to Farnborough; and had the passengers onboard ready for take-off, in less than five hours. We'd received a distressed call earlier in the day from a PA whose boss had missed her scheduled flight from Heathrow.

Five hour turnaround for Cayman Islands flight She desperately needed to get to the Cayman Islands where she was due to speak, as CEO, at her company convention. And to make matters worse, we knew that there was a night time curfew at Grand Cayman Airport from 10.00pm in the evening. With so little time to get there, we had to find an aircraft capable of flying the 10 hour 30 minute flight nonstop.

So using our wide network of operators we sourced a brand new 14-seat Global Express, ultra long range heavy jet, which allowed the two passengers plenty of space to relax and rest and enjoy the especially ordered onboard cuisine.

Arriving just before the 10.00pm curfew, our client thoroughly enjoyed the flight and had a fantastic end to, what had started out as, a stressful day.
